Who am I?

You may want to get to know me a bit better!

I’ve worked in international recruitment since 2003. The first ten years was spent in the UK, focusing on hiring across England, Scotland, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands.

When I returned to Oslo in 2014, I started my own company providing outplacement services to organisations going through restructuring. I had the privilege of assisting senior leaders and engineers as they transitioned into new roles. During this period, I had several aha moments.

For the first time, I was able to see the recruitment process from the candidate’s perspective — and it wasn’t as good as I had imagined.

It became clear to me that the headhunting industry in Norway had changed very little over the years. I saw a real need to modernise recruitment processes, update the tools we use, and most importantly — treat candidates with greater care and transparency.

This insight led me to start Rede People (previously AvantGarde Search). From day one, our mission was simple: to drive a more modern and agile approach to recruitment — with the human at the centre.

That remains my mission today. I’ll continue to challenge the status quo and make sure that every candidate leaves a recruitment process with a positive impression of my clients. Employer brand is everything, and I see it as my responsibility to help my clients protect, and ideally strengthen their reputation through every search.

As many know, I’m also deeply passionate about promoting mental health awareness and the challenges it presents in modern working life.
